Why Early Access?

“The reason Smash Cup is marked as Early Access is due to several factors:

The primary reason is that, in terms of design, we believe the game has not yet reached its full potential. We aim to collect feedback and collaborate with the community to ensure that Smash Cup's unique mechanics become truly outstanding.

Another reason is that we believe our first-time experience (tutorial) overall progress and many of our menu screens require additional polishing.

Lastly, although the current release already includes some content, we have a substantial amount of content planned in our roadmap that we aim to add before exiting Early Access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About a year”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan on adding additional content:
* Additional Smasher characters, each with their own abilities and mechanics
* Additional Battle-Gear to place in your personal base/arena

We also plan on adding additional PvE and PvP modes that will utilize the core game-mechanics in new and exciting ways.

Additional options for controls and preferences are planned to be added, among which are joystick support and configurable mouse/keyboard controls.

Visuals effects, sounds, in-game models and menu screens are planned to be ramped up”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access release will contain at least 6 unique Smasher characters and at least 10-14 structure types to use for your base
The multiplayer experience is fully operational, including partying up with your friends.
In terms of stability, we believe the Early Access release is relatively stable, and that most of the bugs are minor visual bugs that do not hinder experiencing the game”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We believe listening to the community is a key to creating a great game that holds a fun experience.
Community members are invited to join our discord server and/or Steam discussion boards to communicate any issues or suggestions they may have.”
