Pure Hearts is a social sandbox MMORPG where players shape a living fantasy world through politics, trade, combat, and community.

Choose a city, swear your allegiance, and fight to make it prosper — or strike out alone as a wanderer, beholden to no one. In Pure Hearts, the world doesn't revolve around a single hero. It revolves around the players making choices that ripple across an entire civilization.

We're a small indie team, and we built the game we always wanted to play — an MMO where your decisions actually matter, where politics isn't a cutscene, and where the economy runs on real supply and demand, not fetch quests. We don't have a massive budget. What we do have is a clear vision and the stubbornness to see it through.

A WORLD THAT BREATHES

Explore a vast world map filled with diverse biomes, dungeons, and dynamic event locations. The world shifts beneath your feet — plagues sweep through regions, harsh winters freeze trade routes, supernatural blights corrupt the land, and dragon sightings send entire cities scrambling. Over thirty dynamic world modifiers — from wandering merchant caravans to meteor showers — ensure that no two days in Pure Hearts feel the same.

CITIES BUILT BY PLAYERS, FOR PLAYERS

Cities in Pure Hearts are living societies, not quest hubs. Become a citizen and gain access to marketplaces, warehouses, crafting stations, and governance — or remain independent and trade on your own terms. Cities grow through tiers from humble Settlements to thriving Capitals, unlocking new buildings, political seats, and economic power as they rise. Your citizenship isn't decoration. It shapes everything you can do.

POLITICS & GOVERNANCE

Every city is governed by a player council. Take a seat, draft laws, appoint judges, and vote on proposals that change the rules your entire city lives by. Set tax rates on marketplace sales and property. Decide trade policy with neighboring cities. Rule justly, or abuse your power — the citizens will remember.

We built a full governance system because we believe player agency shouldn't stop at combat. In Pure Hearts, political power is real power.

DIPLOMACY & WAR

Forge trade pacts and alliances with neighboring cities — or declare war and break them. Impose embargoes to crush a rival's economy. Negotiate mutual defense treaties. City relations evolve dynamically: from neutrality to alliance to outright conflict. When diplomacy fails, steel speaks.

SKILL-BASED COMBAT & MAGIC

Combat in Pure Hearts is deliberate and punishing. Block, parry, feint — read your opponent and make every opening count. But steel is only half the equation. Wield a deep arsenal of spells drawn from classic fantasy tradition — fireballs, frost waves, healing wards, summoning circles — each with weight, wind-up, and consequence. Magic here isn't a button press. It's a commitment. Time your incantation wrong, and you'll eat a sword for it.

Whether it's a duel for honor, a skirmish over resources, or a full-scale guild war for city control — victory belongs to the skilled, not the highest level.

GUILDS THAT MATTER

A guild in Pure Hearts isn't just a chat room with a tag. It's a political faction, a trade empire, and a war machine rolled into one. Pool your wealth into a shared treasury. Stockpile resources in guild vaults. Climb the ranks — or hand them out to those you trust. As your guild grows, so does its reach: claim prime buildings, take seats on the city council, and make your name known across the map.

A PLAYER-DRIVEN ECONOMY

The marketplace in Pure Hearts runs on real supply and demand. If a plague wipes out a city's crops, food prices spike — and the merchants who stocked up make a fortune. If two cities sign a trade pact, goods flow cheaper between them. Impose tariffs, corner a market, or undercut your rivals. Fortunes are made and lost not by grinding, but by reading the world and acting before everyone else does.

We didn't want an economy where gold appears from thin air. We wanted one where every coin tells a story.

CRIME & JUSTICE

Steal from the wrong person, and the whole city will know. Citizens report crimes. Judges — real players, appointed by the council — investigate and pass judgment. A minor offense might earn you a fine. A capital crime? That's between you and the judge. And judges can be bought, pressured, or overthrown.

Justice isn't automated. It's personal.

PROPERTY & TERRITORY

Every city has a limited number of buildings — and everyone wants one. Rent a shop on the main street, set up a workshop for your guild, or secure a warehouse before your competitors do. Space is scarce, especially in thriving Capitals. Location matters, timing matters, and when your lease is up, someone else is already waiting.

DYNAMIC WORLD EVENTS

The world doesn't wait for you. Bandit camps appear on trade routes overnight. Wolf packs migrate through farmland. A dragon is sighted near the northern mountains — and suddenly every guild in the region is mobilizing. Events range from solo encounters to massive raids that demand coordination between dozens of players. Show up, or miss out.

SEASONAL FRESH STARTS

Every season, the political map is redrawn. Thrones empty. Treasuries reset. Alliances dissolve. The players who dominated last season start on equal footing with everyone else — and the race to build, trade, and conquer begins again. Your character and your collection carry forward, but influence? That's earned fresh every time.

BUILT FOR COMMUNITY

Pure Hearts is built around people, not solo grind. Find friends, see when they're online, and jump into the world together. Form a party and tackle events as a team. Talk in city chat, guild chat, or shout across the entire world. When something important happens — a friend request, a marketplace deal, a vote in your city's council — you'll know about it. This world is better with allies.

We're an indie studio making an ambitious game. We know that.
