„Vanguard Exiles is a complex and rich strategy experience from the mind of Richard Garfield (designer of Magic the Gathering); a new style of auto battler that represents a board game that can only exist in digital form. As we embark on this journey, we want to work with the community to help us shape the game and define the road ahead. As a bunch of experienced game developers who have formed an indie studio, The Tea Division appreciates the importance of feedback from the community to help create a better experience for everyone.“

„We estimate being in Early Access between six months to a year. In that time frame, we expect to develop features like a Single player campaign, Squad rankings, and include more Factions and world content.“

„Players wishing to support us during Early Access can look forward to new content and improvements, including but not limited to:

• New Units, Actions and Factions
  
• New Zones and Biomes
  
• Ranked leaderboards
  
• Tournaments
  
• Single player campaign
  
• Squad Ownership

Any upcoming features and/or changes will be communicated with our community, ensuring players are kept up-to-date as we progress towards full release. The order of features delivered, and tuning of the game, Units, Actions, Squads and ratings, may change based on community feedback.“

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„The current state of Early Access provides a complete playable experience in the world of Vanguard Exiles.
The goal of the game is to claim as many Victory Points as you can whilst anticipating your opponents’ strategy by deploying your Units and Actions into the various Zones of the battlefield.
There are currently three playable Factions with varied Units, Actions and abilities, and three Biomes that populate each game's dynamic world.
Early Access introduces a full Multiplayer system with each Squad having its own rating based on performance in multiplayer games. During Early Access these ratings and Squads may be reset while we tune towards full release.
Single player provides challenges to achieve in-game medals, along with daily challenges.
Initial achievements are also implemented.
Currently, Vanguard Exiles is close to our final vision in terms of gameplay, aesthetics and mechanics, with our focus on expanding the content.
The choice to release into Early Access is centred on community, to bring together passionate players whose feedback will help the future of Vanguard Exiles.“

Změní se cena hry po skončení předběžného přístupu?

„Whilst the pricing structure has not been finalised, the price for Early Access may scale based on new content and features that will be added to the game. Rest assured, all our loyal fans will be rewarded for their support over this journey.“

Jak plánujete zapojit komunitu do vývoje této hry?

„We would like to invite the community to seek feedback via forums, Discord etc. Our intent is to use these channels to run playtests and interviews to understand what the players are looking for.
Our initial point for collecting all feedback will be through Steam Forums.“
