In Polismos you are free to choose the location of your city anywhere on the world map. Want to play as one of the historical heavy-weights like Athens or Sparta? Or maybe found your city on a small secluded island? The choice is yours! The location you choose will affect access to resources, trade partners, and much more - providing huge variation and replayability.



The people of your city will greatly impact its character and your experience as its leader. A rich and powerful population will surely help in your quest to develop the city, but that power might also be turned against you if the people disapprove of your actions. Will you defend your spot on the top even when doing so might hurt the city and its inhabitants?
