Accidentally sent to hell? We’ve all had days like that, but luckily for you, there might be a way out if you’ve got the guts! Hell has you covered with its most insidious form of torture yet: bad puns. You’re just a few short 1-minute HELLEVATOR rides away from Heaven, but can you survive each until it reaches its destination? Use gun violence, and crisp and fluid movement, to blast and evade Hell’s denizens until you see those pearly gates! Enter a flow state, and become unstoppable, aided by hundreds of strange and powerful knick-knacks the dumpsters provide.

FEATURES

• Locked in a cramped Hellevator? Time for some cardio! Dodge enemy attacks, jump from wall to wall, and slide under their bullets while you shred them to bits, or you’ll never see the next station.

• Play as Cate, a kind soul accidentally sent to Hell, who must cut through miles of red tape (and demons) to reach her deserved eternal reward. Chat with weirdos and losers through branching dialogue and learn their motives, moods, and stories. Give them a hand, and they’ll make you stronger with upgrades that persist between commutes.

• Complete quests, spend the souls you’ve claimed and… dive into dumpsters for weapons, knick-knacks and upgrades. Collect them all and build an arsenal of possibilities. Stack powerful and ridiculous buffs to become the strongest thing in Hell.

• Craft unique builds that fit with your favourite playstyle. Amass an army of minions, transform into a close-range tank with a platemail & shotgun combo, or get wacky with it. Flood the screen with bouncing homing knives and embrace chaos.

They’re locked in here with you. Don’t let Hell’s legion overwhelm you. Stay agile with buttery smooth movement. Slip around enemies and their attacks , until you enter a flow state. The faster you go, the stronger you get!

With unlimited possibilities, every death only makes you stronger. Make deals with devils, spend the souls you amass, and create a build that radically alters your playstyle. Take a shot of espresso and load your machine guns to overwhelm your enemies with speed and bullets - or grab some money bags to avoid Mammon’s hellish item shop taxes. Become a clown against your will!

YOU NEVER KNOW WHO YOU’LL MEET ON THE WAY UP

Are you actually a kind soul? Play as Cate, a recently deceased spirit accidentally sent to Hell, as she navigates through Hell’s Elevators, meeting a cast of strange and occasionally helpful weirdos. Offer advice, humour them, or pay them no notice - your actions will grant you upgrades and new possibilities. Not everybody in Hell wants your soul. Some would rather exploit you in other ways.
