Varför Early Access?

“At its core, Soaked is a sandbox to dive into and mess around with. It has competitive play, teamwork, solo challenges, and wild social moments. I consider the early access version as a great base for the game, fully playable with a fun mix of interactions, and ready for hands-on time with players. From this point, I can incorporate active player feedback while I work on my goals for the full release.

First, upping the interactivity. More ways for players to interact with other players, objects, and the level. I'm interested in making each object or part in the level have a function that expands the gameplay, with most having multiple functions. The early access release has a lot of this already, it's over half way to my target.

Second, diverse levels and game modes. Each level and mode should have unique mechanics and standout moments. The plan here is to focus on only a few levels and modes that are deep, fun, and fresh. Each level would have different game modes that incorporate the level's special mechanics. For example, an icy level where water makes surfaces slippery, and a game mode where you need to move many heavy objects as a team. It's the combination of physics, player interactions, and unique level mechanics that make this game shine.

Third, polish. Art, optimization, balance, game flow, squashing bugs. It takes time, devotion, and feedback from players to get it all right. I’m committed to building on what’s here to make it really exceptional.”

“I plan to make regular updates to expand and improve the game, with the full release around Q2 2026.”

“I'm planning to add and improve many aspects of the game and bring it to its full potential. This includes game modes, levels, mechanics, music, sounds, and character options. I have tons of fun ideas, feedback can help narrow down the list to the best ones and assist during their development.”

“Early Access starts with two game modes, Free Play & Tower, on the Bera Beach level. Players can choose between two characters with many color palette options.”
