About This Game

Da Bridge Troll is a roguelike survival simulation. Take on the role of a cunning—or ravenous—troll who rules a lonely bridge deep within a fractured realm. Manage your hunger, trinkets, and favor as travelers from nine rival factions approach your crossing—each bringing opportunity, danger, or their own brand of foolishness.

Choose whether to eat, toll, or spare those who step before you. Every decision shifts the balance between greed and mercy, shaping whether you’ll survive another night beneath the stones… or ascend to legend.

Encounter Travelers

Face a constant flow of strangers—nobles, soldiers, merchants, and creatures of stranger kind. Hear their pleas, threats, or insults before deciding their fate. Some will feed your belly, others your purse, and a few may become Trinkets—tokens that can be offered to other factions in exchange for their favor.

Balance Your Vices

Food, greed, and favor rarely align. Every meal or mercy shifts your standing with the world above. Play cautiously and starve, or indulge and risk wrath. Only trolls who master restraint—or embrace their hunger—will endure the full cycle of survival.

Endings & Legacy

Outlast all four seasons to claim one of several fates. Become a Predator, feasting on all who wander too close, or rise as a Guardian, honored and protected by those you once extorted. Fail to balance your vices, and you’ll end as countless trolls before you have—bones under stone.

Setting

Inspired by dark folklore, Da Bridge Troll unfolds in a grim world of starving villages, cursed forests, and ancient grudges. Its pixel-art aesthetic and dry humor evoke the bleak charm of fairy tales told long after sunset—where monsters are hungry, and mercy is a luxury few can afford.
