This is the official soundtrack album for A Highland Song, featuring all the original music by Laurence Chapman along with tracks by acclaimed Scottish folk bands TALISK and Fourth Moon.

Chapman's score mixes haunting soundscapes and stirring strings and provides the atmospheric backdrop for Moira's journey across the hills. From the main theme, "A Highland Song", through the wide-open ambiences of "I Know Every Stone" and "Each Moor and Meadow", to the soaring melodies of "The Beltane Tide", this is Chapman's best work yet.

TALISK are a multi-award winning Scottish folk band who bring a modern, energetic and blistering style with virtuosic playing. Founded by Mohsen Amini, alongside Graeme Armstrong and Benedict Morris, the group play some of the most electrifying acoustic music in the world and have to be heard to be believed.

Fourth Moon - also founded by Amini - finish off the album, with two cheeky tracks, "Celestial" and "Glasgow Roaster", both bursting with swagger and charm.
