Miksi Early Access?

The project is at a stage in development where the core-loop and systems are functional but requires additional polish, bug fixing, substantial feedback from players to improve balancing, quality-of-life improvements, and gameplay experience.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

6-12 months depending on the additional time needed for features included in the full release or bugs that may unexpectedly occur.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version would have the same amount of gameplay but with more polished systems, visuals, levels, mechanics, full controller support, and refined gameplay tutorials.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current state includes a single-player vertical slice of a full game loop, including a couple levels showcasing all the different mechanics and current possibilities of the game.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Yes, early access keys will be granted to Official CODE-BLACK Discord members in either first-come first-serve basis, or through contests/giveaways within the Discord server.

The price will not change from Early Access to Final Release, any future DLC Content must be purchased separately.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

The Official CODE-BLACK Discord server, this is where Early Access players can provide feedback directly to me and chat about the development process.

You-tube -and- Twitch will be the main locations for getting updates on the game. Whether it be from me or an Early Access Streamer.

Teasers and Trailers will be released on You-Tube, Instagram, and other forms of social media may include Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Kickstarter.

Bringing us back to the golden days of zombie games when things were simple to learn yet hard to master; Code-Black includes all the features we all love and cherish about zombies, and FPS games.

Exploration

Ground Zero is a large open world that contains many hidden areas and secrets ready to discover, including easter-eggs, weapons, enemies, abilities, perks, upgrades, and much more.

Dismemberment

Zombies are no fun unless you can chop their limbs off, am I right? ~ Dismemberment also has its own hidden secrets and features, all I can say is, head is good!

Weapon Upgrades

Weapons all have the ability to be upgraded at various machines within the world; Including the "Weapon Armory," "Mystery Slots," the "Teslectrifier," and the "Crafting Bench"

Akimbo, I think so

Nearly every gun in the game can be also used in Akimbo; I'll just let you figure that one out as you go.

Move with Style

Rugir J.z is capable of some interesting movement mechanics for you to get the upper-hand, or the "upper-draft" on the zombies, and sneak out of sticky situations if used correctly.

Player Perks

Rugir is somehow not dead from shooting up a wack-load of unknown substances, in fact, hes seemed to have gained some weird supernatural or superhuman like abilities.

Power Ups

Surviving and getting kills can grant you certain Power Ups allowing you to get a boost or a helping hand here and there.

Compete on Global Leader-Boards with many different gameplay driven Stats, including but not limited to; Kills, Critical Kills, Rounds Survived, and my personal favourite, Teabags!
