Why Early Access?

“Although we have done extensive testing, it is impossibly to find all of the bugs. We want to first do an early access release to flesh out of all the bugs that escaped us during development, as well as take feedback to improve the game!

We want the actual release of the game to go as smoothly as possible, so the early access is here for us to improve the game before a wide release!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“While we cannot be 100% certain, we think that the early access won't last too long. We think that it will take only a few months to take the feedback from you guys to improve the game!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The main reason for the early access is to improve the game based on feedback from the community. What we add to the game will depend on what we hear from you guys! Besides that, the full release will also have more maps, game modes, game options, and cosmetics!

Here are some more specific plans:
Future maps ideas:
-Snowy tundra
-Magical forest map

Future Game mode ideas (we have plenty of ideas, but we need to playtest to find which ones are actually enjoyable):
-Drunk capture the flag
-Drunk sports (Soccer, volleyball, etc)
-A team mode where all the drunks are competing against the cops

Bug Fixes:
There currently are known bugs that aren't game breaking, but will be fixed in the final release. The final release will also fix all the bugs that you guys find while play testing!

Plus we have many cosmetic ideas (like sports, gaming, and more)”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core game is finished, except we are a small indie game studio so we don't have infinite money to hire play testers. There is a chance there are bugs that we have not found while playtesting. Besides that, it is very similar to what the full game will be, minus additions like new maps, modes, and cosmetics!

Here are more specific details of what is already included if you are interested:
Four Game modes:
-One player is a cop, and the rest are drunks. The cop is trying to catch everyone before the time ends, while the drunks are competing to drink as much as possible.
-A free for all game mode where everyone is trying to dodge bombs falling from the sky. Players try to drink as much as possible to increase their score, while simultaneously dodging the bombs.
-A free for all game mode where every player has a trail that kills other players. Try to kill as many of your friends as possible, while also collecting all of the alcohol around the map!
-A racing mode where everyone tries to complete the course as quickly as possible. The further you progress in the course, the more drunk you get!

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, we plan on keeping it free forever so as many people as possible can enjoy the game!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We look at our Discord very frequently, so we are planning on mostly receiving feedback for the game through Discord.

We will also take all of our reviews into consideration, good or bad, to improve the gameplay!”
