About This Game

This is not merely a voyage of trade; it is a desperate race against the Reaper.

In Fleeting Shores, you bear a family curse, and your life has entered a final 3-year countdown. Your only hope? To amass an astronomical 500 million gold before time runs out.

Time is short, and standard "buy low, sell high" tactics won't save you. You must sail the storm-tossed Mediterranean, seize lucrative opportunities amid the chaos, win over uniquely talented companions, and even risk your life in search of legendary treasures.

Fail this run? Carry your treasures over to the next playthrough, and continue your journey to defy destiny in the next cycle!

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some city backgrounds, character designs, and background music in this game were created with AI assistance.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Fleeting Shores contains occasional mature content. All characters depicted are adults.

Suggestive content: a small number of character portraits and story
illustrations show revealing clothing - a dancer's outfit that bares the
shoulders and midriff, a scene in which a character is caught in a storm at sea
and her wet shirt clings to her, and a beach epilogue in which the cast wears
period-appropriate swimwear. The game contains no nudity and no sexual acts.
Romance with the companion characters is expressed only through dialogue and
non-sexual affection.

Violence: set in the Age of Sail, the story depicts pirate raids, naval battles,
thugs cornering a character in a back alley, and the deaths of named characters.
All of it is told through text and static artwork - there is no combat gameplay,
no gore, and the only blood shown is at the corner of one character's mouth
after she is beaten.

Other themes some players may want to know about in advance: one companion
character is a survivor of illegal human experimentation and carries old
surgical scars; a fictional epidemic kills characters and drives part of the
plot; a criminal organisation commits extortion and murders informants. Much of
the story takes place in taverns, where characters drink and talk about drinking
in the dialogue - alcohol appears in the artwork only as scenery, such as
tankards and bottles on a table, and no character is ever shown in the act of
drinking. An optional blackjack minigame lets the player bet in-game gold (no
real money, no purchasable currency, no loot boxes). Language is mild.

The game does not contain sexual assault or non-consensual sex, self-harm or
suicide, drug use, or any sexual content involving minors.
