Wozu Early Access?

„The primary motivation for us to be part of the Early Access program is to work with our player community to seek input on balancing. Given the asymmetric nature of our game, it is important that players in both of the different roles enjoy the experience.

We feel that we are at a point in development where we are ready to present to the world. We are still ironing out some kinks, but hope to start cultivating engagement and feedback as soon as possible!“

„We're expecting to be in Early Access until the end of 2024. We'll do our best to provide updates to define a more specific timeline as development progresses.“

„We currently plan for the full version of the game to include at least the following features:

• 4 balanced tribes, each with unique cars, tracks, cards, and characters
  
• Game modes supporting multiple driver players
  
• Game modes supporting multiple god players
  
• Ranked Matchmaking
  
• Quickplay Matchmaking
  
• Dedicated Servers

(Along with any other changes we find appropriate through feedback given during this early access phase.)

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„Over the past year we have developed core mechanics and features for players to compete in a 1v1 game mode pitting a driver against a track designing god. Player's can play local splitscreen, or through peer-to-peer connection online. We feature lobby hosting and joining through Steam.

The game currently features 2 well defined tribes: Gnomes and Lizards. Two additional tribes, Plants and Insects, are in various stages of development.

Players are able to play with a range of cars, each with unique stats; and are able to construct their decks from dozens of cards belonging to the various factions. Features are in place for players to unlock items and cosmetics.“

„We plan to continue with the free-to-play model through release! We want people to be able to play for free, and will offer in-game purchases for cosmetics, card packs and future tribes offered as DLC.“

„Developing directly with the community’s input is important to us, and we plan to do so primarily by directly engaging with players through our Discord. We also encourage players to provide feedback in-game by including the ability to reach us directly through the main menu. We actively collect analytics from our player base to monitor player behaviour and preferences so that we can tune the game to make it more fun. Finally, we will provide frequent updates through Steam and Discord, to invite further feedback.“
