What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Heroes Wanted is a Roguelike Deckbuilding game that offers an innovative and entertaining gameplay experience.
As the developers of this project, we believe we have built a game that offers a fresh and enjoyable experience. However, we would like to hear the honest opinions of the gaming community.
Furthermore, we would like to explore the potential of the game we have developed while closely interacting with our player base.

These were the reasons for releasing the game in Early Access. As it took a long time to build the foundations, now is the time when we add more fun to the game and we hope to be able to share this exciting phase with our players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to maintain the Early Access for approximately 3 ~ 6 months.
During this period we plan to continue our development and improve the game's quality by carefully reviewing the feedback we receive from our players.
However, there is a possibility that we might extend the Early Access period if we receive many valuable feedback or constructive feedback that was completely out of our book.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Players will be able to experience the game's basic mechanics and rules.
In the Official Release version, we are planning to add things such as unlockables, multiple endings, additional legendary cards, artifacts, weapons, monsters, bosses, and final boss.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Overall the the game has been developed about 80%. Content-wise, it sits around 60% and below are the current features that have been completed:

Over 60 unique card types

Over 50 unique artifacts

Over 20 equipable weapons

4 unique worlds each with their own aesthetics

ETC.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As Heroes Wanted is a project that is still being developed we have set the price relatively low. Once the game has been officially released, we plan to increase the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community's feedback will be the most prioritized data during the Early Access period's development. Communication will be conducted via the Steam Community forum, SNS, and a regularly scheduled development update with our players.”

About This Game

I don't know what to say, but I need to explain my game.

I made a rogue-like deckbuilder.
I know there are already so many deckbuilders on the market, but I have really tried to make something different - not just different, but also fun.

When the game was about to be playable, I thought to myself,
"Even if my game is fun, if it feels the same as other games, I shouldn't release it. It would just be pollution."
I'm not sure if you would feel the same way, but I think this game feels different and fun. I'm happy with that.

Luckily, a few players have tried my game, and they liked it. Their positive responses made me happy too. I'm a happy guy, haha!

I am still working on improving the game. It's currently in the early access stage.

Recently, a demo build was released. If you have time, please try it out.

By the way, this game currently has

101 cards, 87 artifacts, 56 pieces of equipment, and 27 consumables.

I hope you like my game too.
