Why Early Access?

“We believe Early Access is the perfect way to shape Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos with player feedback. The game blends fast-paced hack-and-slash combat with roguelite elements, and balancing such systems benefits greatly from input across a wide range of playstyles. We want to build a better game by working directly with the community — tuning content, refining difficulty, and improving replayability together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to release the full version in the second half of 2025, giving us time to expand content, refine core systems, and meaningfully incorporate community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will add new classes, stages, enemies, and a wider range of items. It will also feature quality-of-life updates based on player feedback for a more complete and polished experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build features three playable classes (Warrior, Wizard, and Brawler), 12 challenging floors filled with enemies and bosses, and dozens of skills that support diverse builds, along with reroll and ban systems. Players can manage gear mid-run, store items in their inventory, and enjoy smooth item pickup mechanics. Solid performance and full controller support round out the experience. While still in development, the core gameplay loop is already fun, stable, and true to our vision.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may change during the Early Access period as we add significant new content. It is also likely to change when we transition out of Early Access. However, we will always provide players with advanced notice before any price adjustments are made.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We actively monitor player feedback through Steam forums, Discord, and in-game surveys. Balancing changes, new features, and future content priorities will be shaped by the feedback we receive. We want Early Access players to feel directly involved in how Tower of Babel evolves, and we’ll regularly communicate development updates and changelogs.”
