About This Game

Relic Arena will be an 8-player free-to-play autobattler on PC and Mobile, by Dota 2 personalities Jenkins and SUNSfan.

The theme revolves around a historical fiction setting where players outfit their heroes with authentic relics from history, under the command of famed historical figures. Each relic grants a hero a unique ability, with powerful branching upgrades.

In most auto-battlers, you purchase heroes from a shop. These heroes come with built-in abilities and synergies. In Relic Arena, you get empty heroes, then purchase abilities (relics) and place them freely on these units. This makes the game about creating your own synergies between relics.

When you purchase duplicate relics, their power level increases. At a certain threshold, you get to choose from 3 super upgrades. When your relic reaches max level, you receive the ultimate upgrade for that relic, called the juicy upgrade. The Juicy upgrade will dramatically increase the potency of your relic or transform it entirely.



This makes being a good Relic Arena player a delicate balance of 2 things:

• Finding powerful synergies between basic relics.
  
• Upgrading individual relics to the super and juicy levels.

Additionally, you can choose a Leader whose unique advantages will enhance your roster. This introduces an added strategic dimension to the game, as each Leader encourages a distinct style of play.

We are viewing this game as a PC game that happens to work on mobile. In other words, there will be NO GACHA MECHANICS and NO PAY TO WIN. Our in-game monetization will revolve around Battle Pass and cosmetics. Advancing through the Battle Pass will reward players with exclusive cosmetic items and Leader unlocks.
