「As a solo, independent game developer, Early Access offers me a way to broaden feedback, and adjust scope and balance, in a way that I otherwise could not.

Like with my last Early Access title, Gunlocked https://store.steampowered.com/app/1512480/Gunlocked/ hundreds of upgrades and abilities can interact in unique ways, and player feedback will be invaluable in balancing the existing abilities, and shaping the new ones to come.」

I also plan to regularly polish current game content, from balance to art and sound.」

    Boons & Burdens is a single player, action-roguelike, bullet heaven set in the depths of a hellish dimension. Battle hordes of demons through 12 levels of evil, collect magical gems to purchase powerful boons, and unlock your true potential as one of many wizards. But beware! The path to power requires sacrifice. Each level requires you to choose a new burden that transforms the difficulty. Become the paragon of ultimate power, or the architect of your own downfall, and watch it all unfold in richly detailed, over-the-top pixel art.
