VD2: Maidbot Archive is a cross-platform Mecha-Moe bullet hell Souls-like with exploration, sandbox freedom, and intense boss hunting — all wrapped in an anime-inspired, community-driven package.

Experience the feel of a classic twin-stick shooter: move with WASD, aim with your mouse, or jump right in with full gamepad support.

You are a newly assigned officer of Hexcorp, a crime control organization caught in the middle of a machine invasion led by the Biokernel, a powerful AI that assimilates everything it touches.

You join forces with Arris Fern, an ex-terrorist who took revenge on her father 8 years ago, and the responsible for the Biokernel activation, and Hex Reader, an ex mafia boss, both trying to make amends for their past in the middle of a war that is only a small piece of a darker phenomenon, the Vitakrosis effect, where the spirit of revenge threatens to claim the lives of the entire world.

In all of this darkness, a positive force rises to the challenge and helps you bring joy and hope to the world, the Maidbots.

The Maidbots have very diverse skill kits, from healers, to tanks, area of effect, dasher and more, you get to combine their skills with several buffs you find in game for a more powerful build.
