Miksi Early Access?

Because I really want the community to be involved in the proccess of development, that has been my intention since the Alpha started and I find great value in the Early Access format as the design feedback from the community is essential to create a game in the best way I can.

Vindictive Drive 2 will be in Early Access until it's release in late 2024.

In the Early Access proccess I plan on including more Maidbots, story chapters, and map areas, as well as changes to existing content and design to improve the polish of the game for the full version, always depending on player feedback.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

At the time of writing this, the current build has 5 maidbots, 2 chapters and aproximately around an hour and half of game content.
There are several sections of the graphic novel to unlock with the story and multiple characters to interact with, they are chatty.
Crafting is implemented and ready as well.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Yeah, I think it's fair for players who support the game in this stage to get it for cheaper than intended, I plan to raise the price when the game is finished.

I want the community to be involved, all my socials are included in game and I encourage everyone to send me messeges with their opinion on what's best for the future of the project. I'm a solo developer so I'm always reading them myself without any filters.

THE MAIDBOTS | VOICED BY WONDERFUL ANIME DUB, TV AND GAME PROFESSIONALS:





The heart and soul of the game, once you complete the prologue/tutorial, you reach the Sky Frigate Auriga, where you meet Zero, your first Maid, she will show you the ropes and then you'll be able to explore the city, destroy enemy robots and collect their resources.
Back at the Auriga you will get them to the Wagie Cagie shop, where Wagie(the store clerk) will build them for you.
All Maidbots are voiced by incredible and noteworthy VAs, some of which have roles in very popular official Anime dubs, videogames and TV/Film. You can learn more about them here: https://maidbot.carrd.co/



The Maidbots have very diverse skill kits, from healers, to tanks, area of effect, dasher and more, you get to combine their skills with several buffs you find in game for a more powerful build.

AD CAMPAIGN! (WIP):



If you buy the game after clicking on an ad, there will be a special limited edition skin waiting for you! Skins are under production and will be delivered next update.
(Limited edition skins will be produced to be earned during special events, like this one, so other players may earn them if they participate in one of the future events)

STORY:


8 years have passed after Arris Fern's bloodthirsty revenge, as consequence of her actions, a bio-mechanical organism known as the Biokernel begins to devastate the planet, the story follows Arris' story trying to fix things as she avoids falling for her old habits, this time in the receiving end of vengeance.
Arris then finds Hex Reader, a former enemy who's now on a very similar path, they join forces to try and stop the bloodshed and solve a crime.

Playing Vindictive Drive 1 is not required to understand the plot.
