Why Early Access?

“Launching MycoRelic in early access will allow us to incorporate feedback from a growing community of fans, ensuring we craft a great experience catering to the tastes of the people who matter most - the players. We have already found success gathering feedback from our playtests and demos. Our development cycle greatly benefits from direct dialogue with our community on Discord.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“12 to 18 months, but this range of time could vary based on the completion of our development goals as well as financial constraints.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early access state of the game is intended to be a slice of the finished product. We would like to spend a majority of the time in early access adding content; e.g. more islands, bosses, magic, weapons, and gear. On top of this, we wish to refine the core experience and squash as many bugs as we can.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the game's current state, players can play solo or with friends in online co-op, explore the world to find loot, upgrade their robotic bodies, fight enemies using weapons and magic abilities, and collect mushrooms with assorted status effects - all with the goal of defeating bosses to progress. Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. As we add additional content and make improvements by incorporating player feedback, we will increase the price to reflect the increase in the game's size and quality.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a MycoRelic Discord server where we communicate directly with anyone who wants to provide us feedback, bug reports, or suggestions on future content and features. About This Game

You are a sentient fungus, reanimating the scrapped robotic body of a long-dead machine.

Journey with your friends to explore a world of mushrooms, blooming through the technological wreckage of a failed human civilization. 

Build Your Combat Style in a Classless System

Dodge, block, parry, and engage the hostile tribes and creatures of the island. Master a variety of weapons, each with their own move sets and statistics. Equip yourself with armor that suits your playstyle and aesthetic.

Scavenge Parts to Enhance Your Robotic Body

Start with a decrepit, moldy frame. Replace it to overcome the dangers of the environment, support your combat style, or enhance elemental effects. Expand your stamina, boost the integrity of your frame, and increase the potency of your fungal magic.

Wield the Elemental Powers of Ancient Fungi

Infuse yourself using the elemental power within each fungus. Combine effects to produce explosive results. Use fire to burn your enemies and scorch a path through barricades. Cast healing water to rejuvenate your friends and block roaring flames. Call upon the spiritual essence of the world and empower your allies.

Move Freely Through a Mystical Environment

Jump, air-dash, and mantle over obstacles. Hone your platforming skill and discover new pathways across stony cliffs, burning magma, noxious mangroves, and spore riddled chasms.

Play Solo or Join Your Friends

Cooperate with your friends to solve puzzles, defeat bosses, and clear dungeons. Join your friend's world bringing your character and items with you.
