Why Early Access?

“We want to bring MOPCORE to its maximum potential. For this reason, the feedback from our community is very important to us as we develop the game. That's why we wanted to release the game with Early Access after adding the basic mechanics, and then develop MOPCORE to a much better point with feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We approximately need between 2 months to 4 months to reach the goals of this game. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add multiplayer co-op mode and different mechanics suitable for MOPCORE. Besides: new maps, objectives, weapons and enemy types.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core mechanics is up and running. This means players can experience different maps, objectives using current weapons and mechanics available in the game while we plan to extend gameplay experience and polish more.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, MOPCORE's price will remain the same at the end of Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“During the Early Access stage, player comments and feedback are extremely crucial for the future developments of the game. Based on community reviews, we plan to add a multiplayer co-op mode, new maps, new weapons, and new enemy types. Players can reach us directly through our email or social media accounts. ”

About This Game

GET A JOB. DO THE JOB. GET PAID.

A solo workplace-sitcom janitor roguelite.

MOPCORE is a single-player janitorial-shift roguelite set inside a corporate bio-research facility. Accept contracts from your supervisor, clean up whatever the lab is producing, and try to make it home in one piece. Your manager will follow you around and judge you.

GET A JOB

Walk into the locker room and check the contract table. The company has work today: Decontamination jobs, Containment Breach calls, Specimen Captures and others. Pick your loadout from your locker. Bring a mop. Maybe pack something heavier if you can afford it. Head down to whichever floor needs you

DO THE JOB

Specimens get released on schedule. Your job is to handle them. Kill the bugs in their assigned floor, sedate the live ones and carry them to the Inspection Table, dispose of biohazard barrels, carry the corpses to Decontamination Box. Some shifts don't end on schedule. When that happens, specimens find their way out of Floor 0 and up into the Company Hall, and the walkie-talkie starts ringing.

The blood is sticky. Step in too much and you slow down. Clean the lab with your mop, hit the showers on each floor to wash off, and the company will quietly send better mid-shift upgrade offers your way. Between rounds the in-shift shop opens with consumables and small upgrades for whatever you brought in.

GET PAID

When the work is done, you go home. Bank your earnings. Spend them at the company store on better weapons and equipment. Unlock new skills on your tree. Sleep. Wake up. Take another job. Do it again.

Job Description

Take Contracts. Two lab floors and the Company Hall, each with its own contracts. Decontamination jobs, Containment Breach alarms, Specimen Captures and the ones you wish you refused.

Buy from the shop. Spend your shift earnings on better weapons and accessories at the company store between contracts.

Climb the skill tree. Collect specimen DNAs, Spend them in Employee Perk Program. A 16-node skill tree across four specializations. Pick a loadout of four. Each capstone changes how you play.

Carry what you find. Corpses, barrels, sedated specimens, weapons. Pick them up, move them, throw them.

Watch where you step. Blood is sticky. Step in too much and you slow down. The cleaner you stay, the better upgrades the company offers you mid-shift.

Save the civilians. Bugs hunt humans too. If too many die during your shift, the contract fails and the manager hears about it.

Get home in one piece. Survive the contract, complete the objectives, return to the locker room with your loot.

About this version

MOPCORE is a solo indie project, built in Unity. Released in Early Access. We plan to add a multiplayer co-op mode, new floors, new weapons, and new enemy types in the future updates.
