About This Game

The new world, mired by centuries of anarchy, is in constant need of culling. Asmus, a Venator of the Memento Mori, is assigned to that particularly macabre task.

• Dance to the death in 10 increasingly difficult boss fights. To Asmus, they are merely missions, but each character he faces is is fighting for their lives with shockwaves, lasers, lightning-fast slashes, and mesmerizing bullet storms across multiple phases.

• Simple controls, complex mechanics. Move, shoot, slash. That's all you do. Designed to be highly responsive on both keyboard & mouse and gamepads, the controls are basic and easy to understand. It's how you use them to dodge, attack, and counter enemy fire that matters.

• Every level is stylistically distinct, with traditional, handcrafted 2D maps, sprites, and animations for every character. Each one boasts its own unique soundtrack, spanning a plethora of genres to fit the aesthetic and gravitas of each fight.
