„Early Access will allow us to focus on getting the fundamental mechanics right. Our game features some significant deviations from standard and time-tested RTS design, and Early Access will allow players to give feedback regarding those design decisions.

Also, we believe that a hands-off approach works best for competitive multiplayer games like ours. Frequent balance-changes and tweaks can put too much emphasis on the game's designers and take away from player skill and expression. Because of this, we plan on having very few balance changes once the game is officially released. Early Access will allow us to have a well-defined period for balance changes.

We are committed to working on the game throughout and after Early Access.“

-- Tuesday: 7pm-12am, Saturday: 11am-4pm (east-america)
++++ Indie games like ours can struggle to build a player-base. Limiting QM hours will help players coordinate their schedules and increase the number of other players online when they are online.

Neon Marble Rust is a new Real-Time Strategy game.

3 Playable Factions
-- Neon, Marble, and Rust!
-- (Only Neon in EarlyAccess Alpha)
-- Each faction is completely unique: buildings, units, even resources are unique to each House.
Online Multiplayer
-- 2-State rollback system to improve moderate latency connections.
-- Quick Match (limited during Alpha), or custom rooms
Advanced economy system
-- 3 resources that are mined off the map: Mana, Mojo, and Gold.
-- 4 additional resources. These are crafted by your units.
-- Inspired by popular factory-simulation games, these replace the tech-requirements systems seen in other RTS games.
-- Strong macro-management will allow you to out-build your opponent!
Detailed combat
-- Varied unit abilities; skill-shots, stuns, teleports, and more!
-- Strong collisions between units - body-blocking is real.
-- Out maneuver your opponent for big plays!
Skill focus mechanics
-- Deep macro and micro mechanics
-- Automation exists, but comes with a cost.
-- Unlock powerful management tools, but be careful: this research costs the same resource as defense!
Score-based Win Condition
-- Matches are limited to 20 minutes.
-- Destroy your opponent's Cores to score points.
Single-player
-- Sandbox mode to practice builds and test things out.
-- Harvest mode where you defend your base against waves of attackers.
-- 10v10 mode where you can focus on controlling a small group of units.
-- Break-The-Targets mode to practice controlling a pair of units.
