為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Ruins to Fortress is an indie passion project created by a two-person team, Simon and Markus. Since it's a multiplayer game with lots of features and items, there’s a significant amount of work involved. We're launching in Early Access to get help from the community in testing the multiplayer and ensuring everything works smoothly. Feel free to install the separate dedicated server or host the game yourself. Help us stress test the servers as we raise the maximum capacities. Your feedback will help us improve the game as we continue to develop it.」

「Ruins to Fortress will be in Early Access until our vision for the game is complete. We have many plans, like adding new terrains, underground tunnels, more PvE/PvP content, and more items. We want everything to be polished, so it will take some time before we leave Early Access.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「The full version of Ruins to Fortress will expand on what’s available in Early Access. We plan to add more terrains, introduce underground exploration with tunnels and bunkers, and include more PvE/PvP content. There will also be a wider variety of items and improved game systems based on player feedback during Early Access. The final version will be a more complete and polished experience, with all our planned features fully realized.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The foundation of Ruins to Fortress is complete, and we are mainly focused on adding new items, improving gameplay loops, and refining mechanics. There may still be some bugs in multiplayer, but after releasing a demo, we were able to fix and polish a lot based on what we learned from it. Players can host games themselves, and a dedicated server is available for running the game 24/7.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「Ruins to Fortress will be free to play throughout Early Access and will remain free after its full release. As an indie game studio, releasing a multiplayer game is a significant challenge. We’re not just competing with other small studios but also with major companies producing massive titles. Many of these large multiplayer games are free but make their profits through costly skins, pay-to-win mechanics, unnecessary in-game currencies, and endless battle passes.

We get it—we dislike those systems as much as you do, and yet we often get drawn into them too. That’s why we've chosen a different approach: one that we hope you'll find appealing while still helping us cover development costs.

We’ll offer a single, optional DLC that will receive ongoing updates with fresh content like skins, backwall tiles, and more. This will be the only DLC we ever release for the game. Additionally, some skins will be available for separate purchase, but there will never be pay-to-win content, in-game currencies, or similar monetization systems.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「We encourage the community to give feedback through Steam discussions, run their own dedicated servers or self hosted games and join our Discord for more direct communication. Your input will help us improve Ruins to Fortress as we continue developing and adding new features.」
