Why Early Access?

“Early Access offers developers and players a unique opportunity to accelerate the game development process by actively involving players in shaping the gaming experience. This will enable quicker responses to community suggestions and concerns. The game will be progressed through an iterative approach not only enhances the game's overall stability but also allows for the seamless integration of new features and improvements while identifying and addressing any lingering bugs. By engaging early access players, developers can collaboratively craft a richer and more refined gaming experience, ensuring that the final product aligns closely with the desires and expectations of the gaming community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Full release is scheduled for late Q2 or early Q3, 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“These are features we will work on next.

• Expanded tech tree giving players more options for production
  
• Adding levels and difficulty settings to increase level of challenges
  
• Enabling more achievements and links to steam achievements
  
• more powerful market interactions
  
• multi-player will increase challenges as on players choices may affect another player

Player feedback will help us add additional features and update existing features in the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Max Capacity is playable. The major functionality of a single player game format is complete and playable.

With this release you can:

• Start new, load and save sand box level games
  
• Hire and fire staff
  
• Buy and place factory improvements
  
• Assign tasks to staff and machinery
  
• Buy and sell materials, components and products on the market
  
• Experience fluctuations in market prices as market conditions changes
  
• View operational reports to gauge profitability

As the game is updated with new functionality, early access players will have access to the updates. Announcements will be made to provide players with progress updates between releases.

There are bugs both known at the time of the release and to be discovered. These will be fixed as the game progresses and the game stability will continue to improve.

Features not enabled, at this time, in early access:

• Easy Mode
  
• Multiplayer

These features will be enabled in a future release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No decision has been made on release pricing. Most likely, there will be slight price increases due to added costs of support multi-player. We will make regular public announcements regarding future prices as game development progresses.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We definitely look forward to engaging with the community to build an even better game.
Initially, community involvement will be primarily through Steam community channels and Discord. At some future point, early adopters will be granted op-in option to provide anonymous statistics collected during game play which will help with adjusting game play to make it more enjoyable.”
