About This Game

Your stream. Their next great rivalry.

One viewer lands a bullseye. Another misses spectacularly. Someone throws a fish.

Welcome to LurkDarts, a Twitch chat throwing game that gives your community something to compete over while you stream. Viewers type a simple command to join the action, rack up points, and chase bragging rights. You keep playing, chatting, or doing your thing while their competition unfolds alongside yours.

One command. A moment in the spotlight.

A viewer types !throw. The circular overlay opens, their name appears, and their throwable takes center stage before flying toward the target. The camera follows the action, the result lands, and chat has something new to celebrate or give them grief about.

Viewers participate directly through Twitch chat, with no game purchase or installation needed on their side. Whether someone drops in for a single throw or spends the evening chasing the top score, joining takes just a message.

A little corner of your stream. Plenty of personality.

LurkDarts is designed to sit inside your broadcast as an overlay. Its animated circular reveal opens for the action and closes afterward, giving the screen back to your stream.

Keep it alongside your main game, bring some competition to Just Chatting, or give viewers something playful to do during quieter moments. Automatic throw queues and adjustable cooldowns keep turns moving without making you manage every throw.

Darts are only the beginning.

Go from friendly pub competition to hurling axes at a ringed target in your own throwing range. Customize your range to suit your channel’s outdoor atmosphere or medieval theme, and give chat a place to settle their next rivalry.

Mix up the action with darts, axes, knives, shuriken, and even fish. Choose which throwables appear and how often they show up. Keep your lineup traditional, make a favorite item a rare surprise, or let chat discover just how ridiculous target practice can become.

Tonight’s champion. A rivalry that lasts.

Choose the competition that suits your channel:

  • Lifetime: Carry cumulative scores across sessions and give your regulars a running rivalry.

  • Session: Start a fresh competition for the current session and see who comes out ahead.

  • Timed: Put a countdown on screen and let chat race for points before the clock runs out. The top three finishers get their moment at the center of the overlay.

Leave the competition ticking along or make a timed round the event everyone is watching.

Let chat start the showdown.

Connect a Twitch Channel Point reward to a five-minute timed game and let a viewer kick things off.

The viewer who redeems it gets the first throw. The overlay stays open as the countdown runs, and everyone can join the race. When time expires, the throw queue closes and clears, the top three appear on screen, and results can be announced in chat.

Another timed game already underway? Additional redeemed rounds wait their turn, with a break between games.

Set the rules. Make it yours.

Choose your dartboard and bar wall, fine-tune scoring chances, and build your throwable lineup. Adjust cooldowns, queue limits, and whether viewers can hold more than one place in line.

Save your setup, export and import settings profiles, and return to your preferred configuration when it is time to go live. An overlay preview helps you position the game in your broadcast before the first throw.

Give your regulars a score to chase and your next arrival an easy way to join in.

Before You Play

*LurkDarts is designed for Twitch streamers. Twitch integration requires a Twitch account and an internet connection. Displaying the game on your broadcast requires OBS Studio or compatible capture software. Channel Point rounds require access to Twitch custom Channel Point rewards.

Throw results are determined by configurable chances; viewers trigger throws through chat rather than manually aiming.
