Varför Early Access?

“We have decided to first release on Early Access as PlanetSmith is a game that needs to grow with its community. Being a procedural sandbox game it makes sense that we let players play and give us feedback on the building side of the game letting them tell us features and blocks that they want to build with. While this happens we will be crafting the survival mode and after that a multiplayer mode.

The scope of PlanetSmith is huge as we will have huge procedural works, a crafting and gear system along with cave and dungeon exploring and of course boss fights. Even after, players will build rocket ships and fly off their starting world to explore other strange new worlds in the galaxy.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“This game will have 3 stages of early access. Stage one will be the creative mode which will last approximatly 1 year. Followed by stage two survival mode which will last another year. The final stage will be multiplayer which we expect to last another year before the 1.0 release.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“In the full version we plan to have these features:

• Tool & Weapon Smithing
  
• Player Gear (Armor etc)
  
• Farming
  
• World Animals
  
• World Monsters
  
• Boss fights
  
• Space Exploration
  
• Alien World
  
• Multiplayer

Those are all the features we are planning for the 1.0 release. However that doesn't mean we won't continue working on the game, adding more content for you to explore and enjoy.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The game's current stage is Creative Mode, this means that players can create their own procedural planets of any size and build their creations with a large selection of blocks. Survival Mode and Multiplayer are not currently available.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to gradually increase the price as we move between the 3 stages of Early Access development.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We are inviting the community to be as active as they want to be, we would like feedback on everything so if there is a block type or design that you really want to make your perfect creation come tell us!”
