“We want to get Odinfall into our player’s hands as soon as possible - we’re very confident that our players are in for one hell of a god-slaying ride, but we want to ensure that our balancing and future content decisions are made in transparent and open communication with our community. We’re designing characters, weapons, and brand new areas to be added cumulatively over the Early Access period, and we want our Early Access community to help us refine that new content in parallel, so that the 1.0 release can be as polished as it possibly can be.”

“We are currently planning to be in Early Access for 12 months, with frequent content drops and updates planned along the way.”

“The version that launches into Early Access will feature all of the planned story content from the full release of Odinfall. We’re planning to pack the game full with as many badass weapons and imaginative battle scenarios as possible - we know that roguelite players expect games packed to the brim with content that keeps them coming back run after run, and the best way for us to ensure that content is well rounded and polished enough for our audience is to follow the community’s lead.”

“The game is mechanically complete - our combat feels snappy and responsive, and you’ll be able to personalise and spec up your character builds in-preparation for the terrifying combat encounters we have cooking up in the background. You have full access to our first story chapter, which offers a substantial amount of secrets and challenges to explore in the here and now.

We expect some bugs and unusual edge cases to be encountered for the first time at the launch of Early Access. Launching in Early Access allows us to identify any of these unusual issues and react to them, rather than have players discover them in what is considered to be a ‘final’ release.”
