About This Game

Cameraman: The Pilot Episode is a psychological horror game that lets you bend time and manipulate gravity to solve puzzles and survive. Inspired by 80's British television, M.C. Escher, and the Backrooms, you’ll explore ever-changing rooms and spaces that twist familiar locations into something far more sinister.

Story

The Precipice. A portal to a pocket dimension and the product of years of clandestine research and development.

Someone must be the first to cross its threshold.

“The man who has nothing to lose is capable of anything.”

Recent tragedies have made Cameraman the perfect person to take the next groundbreaking step for Zeitlich Corp and its research head, Professor Colin Woods. His tasks of footage gathering and placing research markers seem simple, until this twisted yet familiar dimension begins to unfold.

While science often grants reprieve from the unknown, discovery can lead to dark ends. This place is no exception. Not a single organic lifeform has crossed to the Other Side, and with its strange ability to react to its inhabitants, how will the dimension mould itself when hosting a broken man?

Key Features

  • British Analog Horror: On the other side of the portal, Cameraman experiences the familiar: an old UK television studio. You will find outdated tech, eerily empty studios and dusty office spaces.

  • Gravity-Based Puzzles: Walk on walls and ceilings to navigate the puzzling path of the other side.

  • Camcorder POV: Through an 80's style camera lens you will view the mysteries beyond our world. Complete with artifacting, stuttering glitches and the classic timer.

  • Rewind Time: Rewind specific objects to traverse the environment's challenges, your path forward may depend on it.

  • Live Action Sequences: Where would a TV News Studio be without it's host? Experience news reports in live action sequences on TV's around the level.
