Deaduction is an otherworldly multiplayer horror game. Six players find themselves on the mysterious night shift at a seemingly abandoned hotel. Together, they must fulfill their staff roles in the hotel to cook, clean, and meet the guests' needs. But not everyone's intentions are so innocently aligned.

The Spirits are given a unique hidden role that allows them to inflict horror upon the innocent as they try to go about their daily business. Pretend to be a staff member to avoid detection.

The Poltergeist can manipulate every object in the environment to trap, kill, or sabotage each staff member. They can launch a vase, drop a chandelier, lock the freezer door, or do something as simple as shutting down your PC mid-task. Disguise yourself as a prop to prevent detection whilst you control the Hotel.

The Doppelganger is the slasher of the group and can disguise themselves as another staff member. They can knock out guests when they aren’t looking, using various tools meant for tasks. They leave evidence behind for the Security Guard to investigate and arrest the murderers.

As for the Security Guard, they are in charge of investigating issues in the hotel. They can plant cameras, search suspicious staff members, and use evidence to eliminate them.

The Staff must complete their various tasks to earn money. The Gardener grows and delivers fresh vegetables for the Chef to cook with. The Bellboy delivers the food and works with the Receptionist to care for the guests. The Caretaker is in charge of repairs and cleanliness, and the Security Guard prowls the night looking for trouble.

You are randomly assigned one of these roles and must do your job in the hotel to earn money, all while avoiding the imposters among the group who are trying to eliminate you. Use the money to purchase tools that help uncover and eliminate the imposters, such as an EMF Reader, Holy Water sprayer, or an Antique Pistol.

Resolution doesn’t always have to come from the barrel of an expensive pistol, though. Vote at the meeting table to see who belongs in jail, and eventually, who deserves to leave this world.
