Why Early Access?

“As an indie game developer, I've chosen to release my game in Steam's Early Access for two key reasons. Firstly, to gather invaluable feedback from the gaming community. There's a vast wealth of knowledge and insight among players and by releasing early, I can capitalize on their perspectives and experiences to improve the game. They can spot issues or suggest improvements I might not have considered, enabling me to refine, iterate, and deliver a more compelling final product. Secondly, Early Access allows me to release as soon as there's something playable. This helps create an early buzz and foster a sense of communal development. Instead of working in a vacuum, I can get my game into players' hands sooner, engaging them in the process and enriching the development journey. This is the kind of open, collaborative relationship I believe will lead to the most immersive and satisfying gaming experience.”

“Less than 1 year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the early access phase, I'll provide a pared-down version of the game where players can engage in matches using a set of random buttons, facing off against other real players from around the world. It's all about the spontaneity and excitement of these random encounters.

In the full version I plan to expand gameplay significantly. I plan to make available for every player their own team of random buttons and a whole new market feature where players can trade buttons and customize their teams. I also plan to introduce virtual championships for added competition.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The player can play random matches with random buttons online.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will read the feedback from players on the Steam forums and plan the game based on it.”
