"Work is ongoing to implement and polish all of the planned features in Deep Space Directive, but that takes time. DSD will stay in Early Access until all the planned features have been added and all major bugs have been resolved. This is expected to take roughly 12 months once the intial Early Access build is released.

This is the 3rd Early Access title for OWS. Both of the previous games were in Early Access for less than 12 months."

"In the full version the complete tech tree will be unlocked with all units and resources developed and accessible. Major early access releases will be focused on unlocking additional tiers of the tech tree. There are currently 6 tiers of the tech tree, 2 were unlocked for the demo, 3 will be unlocked at the start of early access."

"Deep Space Directive is playable and with features primarily lmited by the tech tree being partially locked. Many if not all of the early bugs were addressed when the demo was released prior to Steam Next Fest in October 2024. Feedback from the demo continues to be implemented. Many quality of life improvements have been added and will continue to be added."

"The price of the game may increase as features are completed and or when the game leaves Early Access. Significant updates, such as new tiers of the tech tree, will likely come with small increases in price."
