Why Early Access?

“This is Smushii's first game, and while the core gameplay loop is fully functional, I want to build the best possible version of it with the community. Early Access allows me to gather feedback on game balance, economy pacing, and new features. I want to know what players enjoy most, whether it's the management aspect, the vibes, or the expansion, so I can focus development on those areas.

I also want to know if the game is "fun", as this game has taken a long time to make, it's difficult to tell from my perspective anymore.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to keep the game in Early Access for approximately 3-6 months. This should give me enough time to implement the planned features, polish the visuals, and adjust the game balance based on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to be a deeper, more polished experience.

Deeper Management: New mechanics like printer maintenance (cleaning beds, unblocking nozzles) and random events.

Visual & Audio Polish: More sound effects, music if people like it, real printer models, real animations, and a more reactive UI.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable and features the complete core gameplay loop. You can start from a bedroom and expand all the way to a factory of printers.

4 Progression Stages: Expand from a Bedroom to a Garage, Office, and finally a Factory.

3 Printer Classes: Purchase and manage Cartesian, CoreXY, and Delta printers.

6 Filament Types: Manage resources ranging from basic PLA to advanced Carbon Fiber.

Staff Management: Hire employees to automate printing, repairs, and order fulfillment.

Upgrade System: Improve printer speed, reliability, and efficiency.

Dynamic Economy: Fulfill customer orders and manage fluctuating costs.

It should be a entirely playable - completable game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Once out of early access I plan to raise the price to Steam's minimum.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to be active in the Steam Community Hub to discuss feedback and feature requests directly with players. Since this is a management game, balancing the economy and pacing is crucial, and I will be relying on community feedback to fine-tune the numbers. I also plan to post regular updates and changelogs so players can see exactly how their feedback is being implemented.”
