“We believe that Early Access is the best way to go about releasing Teenage Wasteland, as it will allow players to get first-hand experience with the game as it develops, and give real-time feedback that can help the game become the BEST game it can be! On top of that, the game is a BIG RPG, with multiple large locations filled with quests, activities, characters, etc. We plan to release the game in segments, with each major update featuring a brand new side of the town the game takes place in, beginning with the north side.”

“We believe that the game will most likely be in Early Access for around 1-2 years, with major updates hopefully coming in every 6-8 months.”

“We plan for the full version to feature every side of town, as well as the full story, that won't be featured in the Early Access. It will feature everything that we plan on releasing as of right now, such as side quests, perks, skills, companion quests, animations, etc. We will be frequently updating people via social media on all the things we hope to release!”

“The current state of EA is something we're referring to as "1.0"! Currently, you can explore the entirety of the North side of town, and enter all enterable locations save for the comic book store and Internet Cafe. Each location - as well as the overworld - is filled with NPCs, interactable environments, companion/trait interactions, and events.

In terms of content, there are five side quests and dozens of activities throughout the town! Help a nerd who's been attacked by a masked vigilante, find out what's eating a depressed goth, get shaken down by a bully and her lackey, you can even eat sand!
Also, there are TWO companions to travel with - Frank, an oddball with an incredible memory and a love for the 70's, and May, the smartest and most cold-hearted nerd in town. ALSO also, there are TWENTY-ONE traits to unlock, such as Sympathy, Intelligence, Debbie Downer, Gross-Out, Cool, Class Clown, Humiliation, and Casanova!

Content NOT featured in the demo, such as the main story (save for the entire intro sequence, which IS in the game), map, item screen, unlockable skateboard, and other sides of town, will be added in later, smaller updates.

“We currently plan on the full game being priced either the same, or similarly, to the EA release - we believe even the first release of Early Access will feature enough content to warrant being priced as such!”

“We plan on starting a Discord that people can join, where they can share stories of the game, reviews, ideas, etc. As well as that, we will be holding polls via social media and Steam that people can join in on!”
