What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are placing Paint Desk Simulator into early access as we want your input to change and add what you, the players want!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are unsure at the moment, we are working hard to get the game more content. We will strive to have early access completed by December of 2024, however, this may come sooner or later than that. We plan to have 3 locations, "The Valley", "Paintsville", and one extra location that we are not disclosing yet (maybe a big location ;) ). Thank you all for your support in this early access, and as we mentioned before, we want to know what you, the players, want.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We hope that the full version feels a bit more complete compared to the early access. We hope to make the game more relaxing and overall more fun in the grand scheme of things. We take pride in our creation and want the best for everyone when it comes to the gameplay!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable and has its quirks. However, there is a lot to be done when it comes to cleaning up and adding necessary features for user accessibility. There is a lot to be played in the early access version. Plenty of the features in the description are already implemented in the Early Access version. As of right now though, we do not have some of the machines set up to help make the mixing process easier. We do have all the possible upgrades to make customers show up more frequently, and make more money, and plenty of other upgrades to improve the money-making process. We, however, have not set up employees just yet to help with the paint-mixing process, but hope to have that done soon! This game has much to offer, and we hope you like what we have created!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will most likely stay the same from early access into full release. We have no intentions for changing the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will have a public discord for your input into the game. The discord link will be added soon if it has not already, for you to join, make friends, and be a part of a community. You can also put your input and feedback into the channels for us, the dev team, to take into consideration and even ask you more about what you want to see!”

About This Game

Welcome to Paint Desk Simulator! A game about mixing and selling paint and paint products. In this game, you start off as a small business having to do everything by hand with no help with machines or any other external help. You have to pour and mix the paint in the game using the name and color codes that are given to you by the customer. Your goal is to match the exact color that the customer wants using its red, green, and blue values. After you are happy with what you have poured you will be mixing it up until it is perfect for selling.

Over time, you will acquire money from selling all the paint. With this money, you will be able to buy upgrades and tools to make your job easier. These upgrades include more customers over time, higher tip chances, customers can have more patience, and even more storage for all your paint supply needs. Using these tools you increase how much you make and how often you can sell.

Eventually, you will be able to make much more money to afford a whole new office equipped with much more space for your paint-mixing needs. With this larger space, you can have more chances to obtain customers, maybe even a whole new line to accept two orders. And eventually, you can employ your own employees to do your job for you!

Paint Desk Simulator is a game about making money, relaxing, and running your own business. We hope you enjoy this game from a two-man indie game developing team! There are many things to learn about PDS and its environment. Thank you for joining us, and all hail Radiant.
