Varför Early Access?

That’s why we’re moving one step at a time, staying focused on quality, and using Early Access as a way to monitor feedback throughout development. Player input will help us shape and refine the experience, and some features may evolve along the way. But our commitment to the game is already locked in.

“We’re aiming to keep Early Access short and sweet—less than a year. During that time, we’ll be closely watching how the game behaves in the wild: monitoring networking performance, smoothing out any bumps (or unexpected duck pileups), and making sure everything runs as smoothly as a duck on a waterslide.

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“We’re building a game that’s meant to grow with the community. We're planning monthly content drops: fresh cosmetics, little events, bug fixes, new (free) minigames, and a few silly surprises we’re not ready to spoil just yet.

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access version of Slowly Sliding Ducks is fully playable online with up to 16 players. It includes a selection of core minigames (with more on the way), 100 unlockable cosmetics, and access to the community pool where you can show off your duck in all its glory.

While the game is stable and already a ton of fun, we’re still refining online performance and adding quality-of-life features.

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“There’s a chance the game will have a slightly higher price after release. It all depends on how much new content we’ve added by then. Since we plan to keep Early Access short, the price might stay the same. Players who join us during Early Access will get an exclusive skin as a thank-you from the team.

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We'll be actively monitoring in-game analytics, the Steam forums, and the game’s Discord channel during development, focusing on player feedback to understand what minigames are most fun and what features need to be added, removed, or reworked.
”
