About This Demo

The moon is falling, and the world is ending. Tides run amok, waters rise, leaving Cerul Island as Earth's last remaining land. Now that past civilisations and history lie submerged, later generations have chosen to worship the perpetually falling moon, believing they may return to their true homeland after death: Luna.

As a Moonbard, Diallo's mission is to guide the departed to Luna. He shall embark on a dramatic journey through this apocalyptic world alongside Raye, his benefactor's daughter, towards the world's pinnacle: Baptismal Terra.

⚠️ Journey Notice: This is a calm, exploration-focused experience. There is no fast-paced combat or intricate resource management- just follow the melody of moonsongs and enjoy a tranquil journey through the world’s final moments.

Song of Moonbard

As a Moonbard, you have to face the spirits of the departed. By performing Moonsongs, they can return to the moon. You can finish their ascensions by following the rhythm of the moonsong and syncing with the music tempo.

Unraveling the mysteries of ancient human remains

The fantastical instrument you wield, “Diqin”, interacts with ancient human ruins to produce unexpected effects. Whether resonating with rocks, rotating structures, or rewinding time, you can forge paths untrodden by those who came before.

Immersed in a world woven by time and nature

The extreme tides triggered by Moonfall transformed a mountain into an island, creating a vast watery realm. Over time, not only does the weather vary, with high and low tides occurring at sunrise and sunset respectively, affecting exploration range, but the occasional drifting moon dust also causes characters to become fatigued.

Resting at a bonfire not only advances half a day, altering the sky and weather, but also restores the character's stamina, enabling them to journey further and longer.

Wandering through the enchanted wonders of Cerul Island

Across the vast expanse of Cerul Island, you may explore this towering mountain range, drenched in tidal waters, seamlessly, freely venturing into the island's hidden sanctuaries. Within ancient materials awaiting discovery, which can be utilized to rebuild the desolate villages where the characters dwell.

Reveal the past of the ending world through characters

You will encounter numerous living characters and deranged Moonspirits throughout the world, uncovering their stories through dialogue and playing instrument. Having inherited the memories of the Moonspirits, you may also uncover the history of the past and deepen the resonance of the melody.
