Varför Early Access?

“We believe that Early Access is an excellent way to gather precise feedback and improve The Rift based on the players’ needs. Since a significant part of the game relies on user-generated content, it's essential to involve players from the start to refine these mechanics and ensure the game meets their expectations. It also allows us to ensure that every feature functions at the highest level of quality.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“With financial support from a publisher, we estimate that Early Access could last between one and two years. However, if we choose to self-fund, this period could extend to four or five years, and will also depend on feedback from the community. The final duration will therefore depend on how the game is received and the feedback from players.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“In addition to fixing bugs and adjusting game balance, we aim to introduce new features based on player feedback in future updates of THE RIFT.
Our goal is to expand the game with additional biomes and environments, as well as more varied ship customization options. We also hope to add new modes to enrich the overall experience.
A roadmap will be shared at the start of Early Access to present our current development priorities, although it may evolve based on community feedback and the progress of the project.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The current version of The Rift features a campaign and a tutorial to help players get familiar with the game’s mechanics. A contemplative free-fly mode is also available, and the map editor is currently undergoing validation.
Thanks to our previous demos and community feedback, we’ve already made significant improvements to this Early Access version, offering a more polished and rewarding gameplay experience.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The price of The Rift will likely increase during the Early Access period, reaching its final sale price when the full version is released.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Players are at the heart of our creative process. We plan to organize playtest sessions to gather their impressions, and our team runs a Discord server where the community can interact and ask questions.
Additionally, we’re setting up various surveys to collect feedback on players’ experiences. We firmly believe that the opinions and suggestions of our community are essential to shaping a quality game, which is why we started collaborating with them from our very first prototype and will continue to keep them informed about the game's progress and our future plans.”
