“As development progress, the aim is to polish and expand on current features that can be experienced. With a focus on actioning any feedback from the community.

We plan to update The Night Shift to include:
- An entire store to explore and discover new secrets.
- Expanding the store with new and eerie environments.
- New task variations and new items to interact with.
- Steam Cloud saving.
- New horrifying variations of Mannequins.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the Early Access build has the following features implemented:

- A branching narrative system.
- An inventory and inspection system.
- A level branching system.
- Various unique tasks to complete.
- Steam achievements.
- Mannequin randomization.
- Item randomization.
- Various mannequin behaviors.
- Save and Load.
- Customizable options (video, audio, and controls).
- Localisation.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not change when The Night Shift leaves early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will be taking on feedback regularly, through various channels: the Discord server, Steam forums, and email. I will be monitoring these regularly during the Early Access stage looking at what the community likes/dislikes to help shape the final release of The Night Shift.”
