Why Early Access?

“Exelio is a craft-focused survival game, and we plan to keep expanding it with a variety of new content and features.
At its core, the game is built around gathering items, crafting tools and equipment, exploring the world, solving mysteries, and advancing the story.

At this stage, most of the core systems are already in place. However, we believe that polishing the game into a more compelling experience requires adjustments and improvements based on how it actually feels to play.
That’s why we decided to launch in Early Access—so we can incorporate player feedback while we continue adding new features and fine-tuning the game.

In particular, we see plenty of room for additions and improvements in weapons, gear, items, buildings, enemies, and action controls.
To help us make Exelio the best it can be for its full release, we’d love to hear your feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As a guideline, we expect to continue improving the game in Early Access for at least around one year (this may change depending on development progress).
Currently, the story is about 25% complete. We will continue developing new features and implement them step by step.

In addition to the campaign scenario, we will also keep adding content and improving systems based on the development roadmap.
Feedback during Early Access will be an important factor in deciding our priorities. We’d really appreciate your support.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In Early Access, you can experience roughly 25% of the planned story.
In the full version, we plan to add new scenarios over time, along with new fields and dungeons.

We will also continue expanding the survival and crafting experience with more weapons, gear, items, buildings, and enemies.
Action controls will also be further improved based on your feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Within the scope of the Early Access version, most gameplay-related systems have already been implemented.
The game has three main pillars: crafting, action, and story.

Crafting is in a complete, playable state as a core system.

Action is a system that expands through items—equipping weapons and gear changes what you can do, and that foundation is already implemented.

Story takes place within a game system where the protagonist changes between day and night. You can enjoy the stories of both protagonists (currently up to the early portion of the game).

For debugging, experienced staff have reviewed the game, and we prioritize critical issues. However, since this is Early Access, there may still be balance issues or bugs. Thank you for your understanding—we’ll address them as soon as we find them.
Even in Early Access, the game offers solid playtime centered on exploration and crafting.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“After the full release—or as we get closer to full release—the price may change (increase).”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’d like to gather feedback through the Steam Community discussions, our official X account, and other social media channels.
We believe crafting and action still have plenty of potential for expansion. After playing, we’d really appreciate your honest opinions on usability, balance, and controls.

We will actively consider your feedback as we move forward with new content and system improvements. During Early Access, we will continue adjusting and adding content based on play experience and feedback.
