Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Early Access is anticipated to continue for approximately six months. While the roadmap for ACRES' full release remains well-defined (See below), it is also shaped by the invaluable feedback and input from players like you. We remain flexible and open to extending this period if necessary to ensure that ACRES reaches its fullest potential, all while adhering to our carefully crafted development plan.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The envisioned full version of ACRES aims to expand upon the Early Access experience by offering a deeper and more immersive farming adventure. While we cannot make specific promises about future events, our aspiration is to provide players with enhanced features that enable strategic planning, automation opportunities, and a more dynamic response to market orders. Your feedback and support are essential as we work towards realizing this vision.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At its current stage in Early Access, ACRES has made significant progress in establishing and fine-tuning core gameplay mechanics. Players can immerse themselves in a solid farming experience, focusing on cultivating crops in response to incoming market orders.

Currently, the game offers a range of options for farming, including manual labor and the use of 5 automated tractors for tasks such as tilling, sowing, cultivating, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting.

In addition to these core features, players can also explore additional placeable tools and items, such as Chicken Runs, Beehives, the cultivation of non-order cover crops, and the ability to upgrade seed bins, fuel storage, and tractor barns. These elements enrich the gameplay experience and set the stage for further development during the Early Access phase.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price after Early Access. There might be seasonal discounts during Early Access, including a launch discount for early adopters.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Before releasing major updates, testing the new content on happens on ACRES’ experimental branch, open to all Early Access players. I read all feedback and bug reports on all our channels, including an official Discord server where we hang out with the community every day.”
