“WastePunk is a looter shooter set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Correctly balancing such an experience requires continuous gameplay changes and revisions on mechanics and the world map. Feedback from the community and experienced gamers is crucial to shaping WastePunk!

By participating in Early Access, you get to experience the game early and share your thoughts on what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d love to see added. I can fix issues, enhance features, and add new content that makes the game even more fun.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“9 months to 1 year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“While in Early Access, I want to add character perks, character selection, additional guns, items, new mechanics like lock-picking and a variety of new locations and towns. In the full version, I would like to have a fully-fledged story as a classic post-apocalyptic tale in a vast open-world wasteland, along with all the current features in a finalized, polished state.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You are able to explore a small open-world post apocalytpic wasteland with a few interesting locations and take jobs in form of raider bounties and fetch quests in the main town. You are also able to loot containers on the open-world map and collect a small variety of items, money and ammo. In the town you are able to unlock and equip guns, buy ammo and health supplies.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.”
