“Being a smaller team with few resources, releasing our game to Early Access will allow us to build a community and reach a wider audience as we develop. Having a community to give feedback on our game will help us steer development in the right direction and provide the best product we can give. We aren't sure when the game will reach a state that we will consider to be "finished", but we know that people will still be able to play and enjoy Semicolon Island despite that.”

大体どのくらいの期間このゲームを早期アクセスにする予定ですか？

“We want to make sure the game is fully polished and ready before we consider ourselves to be out of early access. We are hoping to fully release by September 2024, but that's ONLY if we feel that the product is ready. We aren't too concerned with release dates, though, as we will be constantly releasing updates throughout the Early Access period.”

早期アクセスバージョンと計画されているフルバージョンの違いは？

“Alongside the core and sandbox gamemodes, we plan for the full release of Semicolon Island to have several different gamemodes, including ones with more focus on PvP. The final game will also come with more advanced modding tools, possibly moving away from using our game engine's editor completely and integrating everything into the game itself.”

早期アクセスバージョンの現状はどうなっていますか？

“The game currently features Sandbox mode, with many of our key features, such as our dynamic destructible building system and workshop support, already up and running.”

早期アクセス期間中と期間後ではゲームの価格は変わりますか？

“The price will likely increase as we ship new features and content.”

コミュニティは開発プロセスにどのように関わることができますか？

“Since the beginning, Semicolon Island and its predecessors have been heavily community-based games. Moving to Steam will allow that community to grow even more, and like previous editions of the game were shaped by the community through feedback and through their creations, so will this one.”
