Miksi Early Access?

Novus Orbis has been continually reshaped alongside community feedback throughout development. As the game enters its next phase of development, I wish to further encourage that relationship with my players to create the best possible game.

We plan to add at least 1 additional Class with their own deck of cards, as well as new Blessings, Enemies, Pets, Bosses, alternate paths to the end, and many new secrets to discover.

For Early Access, the game will launch with 2 playable classes, over 200 cards, 75 Blessings, 45 Enemies, and 5 pets.

We plan to increase the price modestly when we release out of Early Access.

Direct player feedback and communication will be critical to Novus Orbis' development, engaging the community in the Steam Discussions as well as the official Discord - working to improve the game's visuals, mechanics, balance, flow and polish alongside any new content. Novus Orbis wouldn't be what it is today without that feedback, and I plan to continue that collaborative development cycle through Early Access!

Novus Orbis is a roguelike deckbuilder that encourages complex builds with deep deck combos, powerful Blessings, and a with a wealth of secrets to discover.

Advance through the last pieces of this broken world, against an out-of-reach entity.

Your goal is to explore, battle, and strengthen your might and knowledge to bring order back to your land.

Features

Combo System: Every card has a cost and a combo value: Play your cards in the right order to achieve their full potential, or break the combo to get a more favorable outcome.
Countdown System: Every time you play a card and when you end your turn enemies will get closer to attacking you. They can and will attack during your turn!
Multiple Classes: Three classes with completely different sets of cards and mechanics.
Deck Building: More than 100 cards per class. Cards come in six types: Attack, Skill, Equipment, Item, Special, and Affliction.
Blessings: Powerful upgrades to your character. Get them from bosses, special rooms, shops, and secret interactions!
Pets: Find multiple companions per run, who will attack, support, heal , and more every turn.
