What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are a small team of developers aiming to deliver a unique gaming experience for players. We are experimenting with mechanics and player perception in the game. That's why we have chosen the early access model, as we value your impressions and feedback on the game. But everyone knows why games are released in early access, right? xD”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep the product in early access until it's ready, specifically for 3 months after the game's release on Steam. However, the game will never leave the early access stage because it's part of a joke. We hope we don't need to explain the joke to you.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add three additional levels, each of which is a separate game of a new genre - horror, a mix of RPG and shooter, and something new that you haven't seen before. There will also be enhancements to the existing content, including new quests, abilities, and enemies for the current levels. Additionally, there are plans to expand the game modes, such as an endless arena shooter for the player with the ability to switch between first-person shooter and third-person slasher with elements of Souls-like gameplay.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is at the level of a modern AAA product, approximately 60% of the game content is still missing, and many mechanics require further refinement. Optimization is absent or, to be more precise, it is present, but we are uncertain about its extent. This is what you can expect from a true AAA product in our time, isn't it?
The game is still in its early stages of development. Currently, there are two levels present out of 5 in the game: a first-person shooter level and an RPG level, as well as a teaser for a horror level.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, after the official release, we plan to slightly increase the price, but not significantly.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to receive direct feedback from our community so you can find a link to our Discord server on the store page. We are happy to have regular chat and voice sessions with our players. You can also reach out to our support email, which is also provided on the store page.”

About This Game

A true AAA experience at an indie price! Why pay extra for unfinished games, with broken code, and lack of optimization when you can get this experience right now at a significantly lower cost - meet GameDev Trash. The game of tomorrow that will show you where the gaming industry is really heading and what awaits you in the future!

The gameplay: Game Dev Trash is highly unconventional. Each level undergoes a genre shift, ranging from first-person shooter to third-person open-world RPG and even horror. Additionally, the game features two unique levels. At the end of each level, players will encounter a boss that represents a different game industry persona, from developer to game producer. All of this is wrapped in a slightly insane plot about the modern game developer and its secrets, narrated by an off-screen voice.
If you enjoy silly jokes and unique gameplay, then this game is perfect for you!

!!CAUTION!!
