“We expect XR22-SEAGUARD to be in Early Access for approximately 4-5 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to introduce several enhancements to XR22-SEAGUARD as it progresses towards the full version, including:
- Improvements on cross-platform multiplayer.
- The option for players to manually place their ships on the game board.
These planned additions aim to enhance the multiplayer experience, promote social interaction, enrich strategic gameplay, and refine competitive matchmaking in the full version of XR22-SEAGUARD. What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“- Platforms: The game is available on PC (Windows) and compatible with VR devices such as HTC Vive/Pro,
Oculus Rift/Rift S, and Valve Index , Oculus Quest2/3 via Link Cable.
- Single-player mode: Play against an AI opponent with two difficulty levels, featuring a ranking and achievements system.
- Multiplayer mode: Includes a ranking and achievements system based on the Elo rating.
Steam players can invite friends to join battleship combats and use an in-game chat.
- Cross-platform multiplayer: Supports crossplay across PC storefronts (Steam/Epic).

This game utilizes Epic Account Services (EOS) to connect players between the Steam and Epic storefronts. If a new user doesn't have an Epic Account, they can create a new frictionless proxy Epic Account.
This new Epic Account is linked to their Steam account, enabling automatic login on subsequent game launches,
without the need for users to provide additional information like email addresses or passwords.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price of XR22-SEAGUARD will change when it leaves Early Access. We plan to add an additional amount to the price due to the new features and content we will be adding. We believe that the added value justifies the increased price.”
