Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Operator: Observation is fully playable from start to finish, with every core mechanic, every night and the complete story progression already in place. What still needs more time are the game's multiple endings. The story branches based on the choices you make and the paths you take, and we want every one of those endings to be complete and properly fleshed out.

Rather than delaying the release any further, we decided to launch in Early Access with two fully reachable endings. This allows players to experience the game now, while we finish the remaining endings with the care they deserve. As a small independent studio, player feedback during this phase is extremely valuable to us and will directly help shape the final version of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access until early 2027. Since the core game is already complete, this phase is focused on finishing the remaining endings and polishing the overall experience, so we expect it to be relatively short.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will add six additional endings, bringing the total to eight. Each ending reflects the choices made throughout the game and reveals new parts of the story. Alongside the new endings, the full release will include further polish, bug fixes and improvements based on player feedback.

Your choices are already being saved in the Early Access version, so once the full version is released, you will be able to reach the new endings without having to restart the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains the complete game, including all nights, all mechanics, all dream sequences and the full story progression. Two of the planned eight endings are currently reachable. If your choices lead to one of the endings that are not yet available, the game will let you know that this ending will be added in a future update.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will stay the same during and after Early Access. Everyone who purchases the game during Early Access will receive all future updates, including every new ending, at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are actively listening to our community on our Discord server and in the Steam discussions. Bug reports, suggestions and general feedback from players will be reviewed regularly and help us decide what to improve before the full release. We will also keep everyone up to date about our progress with regular news posts on Steam, our Website and Discord.”

About This Game

**Every design and picture on this page is subject to change as the game is still in early development.**

You are Colin Nox. As part of House Safety Incorporated, you were transferred to one of their facilities deep underground. Your job is simple: watch the monitors, find anomalies, report them, and assign the right taskforces to deal with them. They call you the Observer for a reason.

But the anomalies grow stronger with every shift. And your days just keep going by.

Camera System

Three night shifts, and the cameras are your best friend. Switch between rooms and look for anything out of place. Did that chair move? Was that picture always like that? Or maybe something you can only hear? Find it out.

Report and Taskforce System

Spot an anomaly, report it, assign a taskforce. Simple enough. With 5 to 9 anomaly types spread across 5 to 9 rooms, and the layout changing every night, no shift is the same. Hopefully you are ready.

Anomalies

From light anomalies to shapeshifters, almost everything is waiting for you. Fight for your job and the lives of innocent civilians counting on you.

Beyond the Monitors

What happens at 8 AM when the shift ends and Colin goes home? At first, home feels like an escape. A place to breathe. But the anomalies do not stay behind the monitors. They follow. They grow. And soon the place Colin calls home becomes just another location to survive.

And then there are the dreams. The Dreamworld is where things stop making sense entirely. A place buried deep in Colin's mind where the anomalies have already made themselves comfortable. Navigating it means confronting something far more personal than a shifting chair or a flickering light.

The facility. The houses. Home. And the mind. Operator: Observation takes you through all of it.

Your Instructor

From your very first shift, a voice guides you. Your Instructor. Professional, distant, and not exactly known for small talk. Follow the instructions, do your job, and don't ask too many questions. At least that is what they expect from you.

Endings

In this world, the line between good and bad is not always clear. Find your path and reach one of 4 possible endings.

"So. Operator. What are you waiting for? Hop in and help humanity survive one of the most critical situations it has ever faced. And. DON'T. GIVE. UP."
