The Aztecs - a Mesoamerican culture that flourished for three great centuries, dominating vast stretches of land in the area and creating a society unique in world history. Aztecs: The Last Sun is a city builder set between the 13th and 16th centuries CE. As your nation’s great leader, you are responsible for building and bringing to splendor the magnificent city-state of Tenochtitlan. This amazing architectural wonder was historically located on an island in the middle of Lake Texcoco and therefore presents the technological and economic challenge of providing food for your people and maintain a permanent trade route with the outside world.



The new demo is based on the updated terrain system, which is a significant change from the previous demo. Now, you get to know the Bloodzone right at the beginning of the game, rather than just later on. This ensures that you will experience the feature quite early, since it's a core aspect of the game. A save system was implemented, so you can create save games now, which was not possible before. When reaching the end of the demo, you can continue playing, if you want, but there will be no new content and no new researches. Also, there are numerous UI/UX changes, giving Aztecs: The Last Sun a fresher and improved appearance. Lastly, the new demo includes performance optimizations and numerous bug fixes.
