About This Game

Welcome to Farmion

A cozy voxel farming and life sim. Shape the land, plant your first fields, and grow a quiet plot into a busy farm with a village of its own, at whatever pace suits you.

Your farm, your way

Shape the terrain, lay roads, fences and bridges, and plan every field. Chase the perfect money-maker by levelling up your crops, or build the prettiest farm in the valley and capture it with your phone camera. Both are the right way to play.

Farm alone or with friends

Play solo, or open your farm to friends in online co-op. Share one farm with a whole group and decide who can build, harvest or just visit with simple permission roles.

Grow, harvest, repeat

Plant by hand or hop on your tractor to till, plant, water and harvest whole fields in one pass. Crops change with the seasons, from spring blossom to snowy winters.

Animals and pets

Raise chickens and other farm animals, keep their troughs filled, and collect what they make. A cat, corgi, dachshund, frog or hedgehog can keep you company while you work.

Run your own businesses

Turn your harvest into something more:

• Cook and serve in your own (cat)café, restaurant, buffet

• Stock the shelves and scan groceries at your own checkout

• Tie bouquets to order in your flower shop

• Age cheese in your cheesery

Sell at the market for Qbs, our currency, and spend them on new machines, recipes and decorations.

Grow a village

After a while, villagers start moving in. Their homes begin as homes on wheels and grow as you upgrade them. Buses, a hot-air balloon and a steam train bring in visitors and goods.

Your farm keeps going

Crops keep growing, customers keep buying and machines keep working while you're away. Come back for a big harvest, or settle in for a long session and see how far you get.

Progress that travels with you

Your farmer levels up as you play and unlocks new vehicles, upgrades, outfits and more. Your progress comes with you to any farm you visit. Dress your farmer in the barn's dressing room and chase 100 Steam achievements.

Helping hands

Loyal FarmBots (beep-boop) help with the work outdoors, and the job board always has something new to do.

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

We are both programmers with limited 3D skills (and limited natural languages known), hence:

- 3D assets are initially scaffolded by AI (think: silhouette, basic shapes) and afterwards using a Voxel Editor manually brushed up by us.

- Localization in Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Spanish is completely AI generated with a question for the Community to help us with translation accuracy. Dutch, Estonian and English are vetted by us.
