“It is planned that the full version of Shards of the Past will contain a continuation of the story that is begun in the Early Access version, with multiple narrative branches leading to more than one ending. Improvements to the journal system as well as UI updates are planned.”

“The Early Access version of Shards of the Past currently contains four completed chapters worth of content. This includes numerous dialogue choices and branches that will require multiple playthroughs to experience. Also included are achievements, an unlockable image gallery, map and a journal system.

Shards of the Past is a story-focused adult-themed visual novel with mature and sometimes dark themes. Scenes in Shards of the Past can contain mature language, nudity, explicit sexual content, attempted sexual assault, bullying, harassment, alcohol use, graphic violence and death.

ATTENTION: "Shards of the Past" is a story first visual novel that focuses on character development and world building with emphasis on meaningful choices. Due to it's slow burn, story-first nature there are currently no sex scenes between characters in the released content. Those will appear later as the story and your relationships with certain characters develops further and are avoidable for those that do not wish to see such content.
