What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Because the game features a sample of the number of levels, characters, environments, items, and challenges originally considered.

Our goal is to have at least 10 basic levels, more extensive and with more events and challenges, as well as being able to incorporate more allied and enemy characters, not only those belonging to the Banaverse, but we also refer to many designs and ideas that already exist. we had them considered, but due to multiple factors, could not be developed on time.

Because it's a game dedicated to a well-known youtuber, we want to extend the environments of each level for the main character to explore other areas, contributing not only to new space-related challenges, but also to the humor of saying "it's a game where the youtuber goes through all these places and moments"

We want to incorporate more characters related to the theme and narrative that the youtuber invented, each one with their own abilities that serve either as support to solve the challenges, or as bonuses, or simply a satire to make the experience funnier, leaving as a final idea that "the youtuber received help from all these celebrities or invited characters"

As for items, we had contemplated at least 10 objects or combat tools, but we started with 3 of them, with the intention that some be support objects to fight, and others support with movement or defense, without continuing to increase the game mood.

We have more enemy and boss designs developed, which are still in testing stages and require polishing before being included in the official game. Design and material exist but it has not yet been completed or developed.

We also have more ideas for puzzles using the current features, soon they will be tested and review for being present on the complete version”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately between one or two years.

We calculate this time range based on a series of determining factors:

Work schedules of each team member.
Number of completed tasks. (Segregated by difficulty level and ability of each team member.)
Various adverse situations. (Accidents, dismissals, etc.)
Team motivation and dedication.
The basic programming of the game is complete. This benefits us when reducing future work times by implementing new mechanics, developing puzzles, objects, characters, designs, etc. However, the programmers on the team work hard to reduce the number of bugs observed in game testing sessions, all indicated by a select group of people from the community. Currently, as predicted by the team's programming director, the game has only two programming bugs that do not significantly affect gameplay, but do lead players to exploit these code errors.

Likewise, the visual aesthetic of the game is defined and tasks for this area are already assigned.

We estimate the release of the early access based on our performance in the last 6 months. Although achieving our goals (converting Banaverso from early access to base game) may take less time than expected, we recognize the team's weaknesses and support each other in creating original and quality content within the times we determine for each task.

We respect the priorities of each team member beyond the project. We recognize the need for team members to take breaks after long days of work on the Banaverse project. So far, the observed results are higher quality of completed tasks in exchange for a little more time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to create a version that has more content in its levels: larger, more durable, more challenging and puzzle-filled, more guest characters, more crazy items and abilities.

Our ideal is that, among other features, there are opponents with different combat systems, so that we don't just have melee attacks, but ranged attacks which are already developed but not implemented

We are interested in having more allied characters whose abilities are not only attack but also health support or even movement generation.

For now we have a programming base from which we can produce more elements such as allies, items and opponents, plus we already have designs ready and ready for development”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“So far we have the following features
- Complete third person game base.
- Abridged version of five levels out of ten originally planned.
- Only one allied character finished out of eight contemplated
- We have implemented three items out of ten (some still do not pass the testing tests)
- As for opponents, there are three melee enemies
- There are currently 2 level bosses that have their own characteristics. still missing 8
- Solid game mechanics.
- Solid support from the developers.
- Active feedback from a group of Beta Testers.
- A unique and cartoonish direction of the vision of the game.
- Developing puzzles to handle the fluidity of the levels.
- Original soundtrack.
- Work on professional sound effects.
- Support of multiple external designers.
Overall, the game is in an early stage of development, but with a solid foundation of gameplay and established mechanics. There is still a lot of work to be done in terms of characters, items, enemies, and level bosses, but with the solid support from the developers and the group of Beta Testers, the game has promising potential to improve and grow in the future.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as we add new content and features, considering development stages or many offers based on special additions that will come along the way.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The opinion of our fans is very important for the development process of this game, therefore, all the comments of the community will be considered for the improvement of the game.

We will present regular preview on social networks and official websites”

About This Game

Madness in the Banaverse is a single player platform game that combines action and comedy with a cartoonish style, taking as its protagonist the famous YouTuber “El Bananero”, who provides his voice to give life to the character and the most iconic phrases.

It all begins when the main character is kidnapped by Santa and his henchmen, and during his escape he ends up going through a portal to the multiverse. From there, together with his colleague Andrés Di Bono, they will have to go through the various levels of the Multiverse to escape from a false Santa and his minions.

The goal of the game is to go through the different levels of the multiverse and find a way to return home. To do this, El Bananero and Andrés have to travel through increasingly crazy places full of fake Santa's henchmen. Each level has its own challenges that combine environmental contexts with comedy and action.

The game has more than 11 levels with a variety of environments, each of which follows the concept of madness. Includes places like a drain, an underwater level, a world where cakes are the size of buildings, or even navigating the multiverse with a jet pack.

The game has a variety of enemies and obstacles designed within the theme that the Youtuber addresses in his videos, worked under the creativity of the company to extend and further crazy the concept of the characters, thus bringing challenges such as defeating Santa who uses a Jetpack backpack and a bazooka, or a giant cake that shoots candy, or a Gorilla.

Each level has challenges related to solving puzzles combined with the constant combat against Santa’s henchmen. While it is true that there will be guides and support signs to solve the puzzles, the presence of enemies lurking will be something that makes this game more dynamic, so your allies will be very useful throughout the journey.

The weapons within this game range from the use of throwables, boxing gloves, energy blasters, and to regain health we include things like beer and sausages.
Within the game we will find varieties of characters, objects of use, outfits and many other surprises that will be hidden around.

The game has many surprises hidden within the levels, one of them is the set of skins that allows the player to enjoy an even funnier experience, thinking that if they check carefully, they can end up playing with El Bananero dressed as a crayon.

Warning, this is a game recommended for an adult audience, all the characters present here are fictional and any resemblance to reality is pure and mere coincidence
